New e-commerce website in development
with funding support from New Anglia Local Enterprise Partnership for Norfolk and Suffolk
Throughout the pandemic and ongoing recovery Potters has continued to focus on serving both its loyal and new customers with all their packaging needs. We launched a new website in March of 2021 promoting our abilities to design and manufacture to our clients’ bespoke requirements. We have continued to invest in that side of the business, recently acquiring new machinery to allow more automated manufacture of a larger variety of sizes of branded boxes.
This year, we are focusing on modernising how our clients can purchase our stock. We have not refreshed our catalogue since June 2019 but are now making significant investment to welcome the world of e-commerce to Potters. Over the next few months, we will be continuing to develop an interactive buying process, and an updated online catalogue to support our existing sales team. The website development is significant and complex project with the objective of future proofing the business, so Potters can continue to serve its customers for many years to come. This business expansion has been supported by New Anglia Local Enterprise Partnership, through the Business Resilience and Recovery Grant Scheme.
We are very grateful for support from New Anglia in their help to fund this project. This grant has been established to support businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic and during the economic recovery. It provides grants to support short-term business resilience projects and longer-term recovery and diversification projects.
New Anglia LEP have been fully supportive throughout the application process. This marks a significant step for Potters, a packaging expert and UK Boxmaker manufacturer since 1846.
